Dear Mum,
I am pleased to write this letter to you as I am elated to tell you all about the new hobby lessons I have been going to here in Abuja. It’s a painting class as I’ve always loved to paint. Kim told me about the class a few weeks ago as I didn’t know there were any classes like this.
My lesson instructor if Miss Jones, a single and lovely lady who is very good with her hands. It’s been so much fun as I’ve made a lot of friends since I began and have also learnt a lot for example, I learnt how to properly paint a peacock taking into consideration color combination and also the thin fine lines of it’s edges. Presently, I am learning how to paint from my imagination.
The class is more fun than I had expected, I have been able to surprise myself and I’m sure you will be too upon viewing my work. I had earlier thought to take the class for 2 weeks however I have decided to take it for a month since i’ll still be in Abuja up until the 15th of next month.
I hope to see you soon and not only tell you but show you all I have done since the beginning of the lesson.
