You have recently studied in another country but had to leave the course in between and return back to your country.
Write a letter to the course administrator-
Thank him/her for assisting you with enrolling into this course.
Explain him/her why you had to leave this course.
Tell what you liked about this course.

Dear Mr. James,

I am Jackson Simpson from the September 2018 batch of Data Science. I am writing this letter to thank you for the guidance provided for choosing an informative course as well as enrolling in time. Moreover, your suggestion to apply for financial aid was a big help since I am a foreign student.

I am afraid, I will not be able to pursue the program any further due to unforeseen circumstances at personal level and will have to leave at the earliest for my country. Last Tuesday, I received an email from my family mentioned, wherein he mentioned that my mother in at stage IV Parkinson's meaning which, she needs immediate and full time attention. As it is only me and mother in the family, I would like to spend the rest of time with her taking after her needs and being an emotional support.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interactive sessions and the capstone projects during the executive programs; this teaching style built a strong foundation for data science. Last but no the least, I would like to appreciate the innovative teaching methods of our professor, Mr. Jeffery. Additionally, I made some real good friends while at the campus.

If conditions permit, I would definitely like to resume the classes. Let me know if there are any options to continue the course. Looking forward for your response.

Your's sincerely,
Jackson Simpson
