Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for a job as an English teacher that your college - Saigon Community College - is recruiting via an advertisement on The Youth newspaper.
According to the advertisement, the working time is at night which is most suitable for me as I am available from 6pm to 11pm for all weekdays. Moreover, there are several courses needing teachers and English for business is the one I would like to work on. With the growth in number of international companies nowadays, business English becomes more and more necessary for people who would like to work in a multi-national environment.
I have been running my own company and investing in stock and real estate for over ten years. Therefore, I have much knowledge and practical experience in the language used in business situations as well as communication. Besides, a BA degree in English language and five-year experience in teaching business English are what makes me the most appropriate teacher for this course.
I am looking forward to an interview from you.
Yours faithfully,
Ken Tran
