It was my pleasure to be your guest and have a business meeting at your hotel last week and I really appreciate your hospitality and substantial meal you provided. I am writing this letter to ask if you would be generous as to do me a favour.
I realised that I had forgotten to take my important documents after returning my home. I think I had put them in the briefcase. It is a black leather briefcase and I believe that I had left it on the bed. You will easily find it if you enter the room.
The papers are extremely crucial to me, as some of them record the financial statements of my company and we must utilise them to predict the net profits in next year. In addition, some documents also cover the agenda of this meeting as well.
I would like you to try to find those documents and send them to me by post as soon as possible.
