You recently organized an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they like the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter:
• Say what the participants like about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you regarding the gathering that our company held in your hotel last week. I would like to give you our feedback of that experience.
Firstly, we were pleased about the arrangements in the Business Center. My colleagues complemented the cleanness of it and were happy with service provided by the center staff. Your employees were so professional that they prepared the required equipment on the spot. The equipment itself was in an excellent condition and helped us to facilitate our proceedings.
However, we have some complaints about your open- buffet restaurant. Some of my colleagues said that the amount of some dishes was not enough. The Indian Biryani is an example. Others complained that the roasted chickens were not cooked enough. Also, vegetables and fruits were not fresh.
If I was to give some advice, perhaps it would be a good idea to keep an eye of the consumption of the served dishes during the lunch period and make sure that all items are available all the time. With regarding to the cooking, there are some special kinds of food that need experienced chefs to cook them well. I think you may try to hire such calibers. Finally, it would be useful not to use fruits or vegetables that had been bought more than 2 days earlier.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Khaled Ibrahim.
