You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Hi Rebecca,

I am writing to you in reply to your letter seeking suggestion about enrolling into the college or start a job. I will suggest you take up a job rather going to college and will provide you reasons supporting that.

Firstly, I will mention the disadvantages of going to college. I feel that you will not enjoy in Candian college, as you could only speak to the people who are of age the same as you. Most of the people of that age you have already seen in your high-school. Secondly, most of the students tend to enjoy the college rather focusing on studies and one of the reasons for this is; enrolling into the college is really tough, however, passing the college exams is not tough as compare to enrolling. The nearest best college is 40 Km far from your residence which will consume at least 2 hours in regular congestion. In addition to this, colleges fees are not cheap, you might have to apply for an educational loan.

Why Job is better than going to college? One who works get multidimensional growth as you will get to interact with multiple people from across domains. You will learn from the experiences of others and shall implement in your career also. Most importantly, you will earn and can manage your expensive moreover you can support your family also.

As you have several years of experience in customer handling then you can apply for a Receptionist Job in a company, school or in hotels.

All the best,
Dinesh
