You relocated to an overseas country recently and shipped your furniture and other possessions through a shipping company. When you received them, you found some of them got damaged. Write a letter to the delivery manager of the shipping company:
• when and where the shipment was
• describe the damages
• what you want the shipment company to do.
Dear Sir,
I am John and writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction towards you shipping service provided. I recently relocated from India to Canada on November 20th; moreover, we opted your company for shipment service which ended up in vain.
Once after receiving all the furniture, we opened the sealed boxes to arrange them in all the room. But to our astonishment, we found all the stuff was damaged to a maximum extent. Some of the expensive appliances such as oven, dining table, ceramic appliances were broken; moreover, we cautioned you to more careful about the exquisite glass painting. Even that was totally a disaster.
I made a call to your office and raised a serious concern towards the loss made by your shipment company, and demanded for compensation. But, the response was not at all supportive which made me even more annoying. At any cost I want your company to take a serious consideration on this and revert your mistake. In case of negligence, I will file a case in the consumer court afterwards you should face the consequences.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours Faithfully,
John
