A friend who lives in a different city has invited you to his/her daughter's 8th birthday. However, you can not accept the invitation due to some personal reasons.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
• thank him for the invitation
• mention why you cannot attend the birthday party
• offer to meet him some other day

Dear Aman
I hope my letter finds you in radiant health and high spirits.I am writing this letter to apologize you that i am not able to attend a party that you are organizing for your daughter’s eighth birthday.
Firstly, I’m glad to receive your invitation,however,my happiness was short-lived as I realised i am not able to turn up at your daughter’s birthday .
However i am feeling so bad that i cannot come to attend this party and apologize to you . Unfortunately, i have dentist appointment on that day and it will take whole day in hospital. Moreover, it is very far from
my city so that it is not possible to reach there during cut the cake.Certainly, i will call you to wish her on same day .
But, i am planning to celebrate Christmas at my home and inviting all friends and colleagues. Therefore, we can meet each other on that day .
