I am writing this letter to request a new single room in the college hostel due to the ongoing problems with my roommate. Please allow me to elaborate on my circumstance.
My friend – Asad Shafiq – is overly social and organizes parties in the room every weekend. As you would agree with me, weekends are highly crucial for me to get myself prepared for examinations. These parties have become a bane for me as due to these parties I get distracted from the studies. Moreover, my roommate uses personal stuff such as clothes, perfume and shoes without my permission. On certain occasions, I have informed Asad about the problems, but he didn’t give an ear to it. My performance in class is deteriorating and I am afraid that I wouldn’t be able to submit the thesis for this year on time.
Considering the aforementioned concerns, I hope you will empathize with me and allot me a single room as soon as possible. I wouldn’t mind the condition of the room as long as it’s quiet and peaceful.
