Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my interest regarding the vacant post in your workshop, as well as inquiring about the job.
I have recently finished a comprehensive course on car repair with high grades. Furthermore, I have 2 months of experience as an assistant mechanic in a workshop here in Surrey, provable by a reference letter at your request. However, a few questions have arisen in my mind that I would greatly appreciate it if are answered.
First and foremost, in the advert, no information has been stated about the annual wage or whether the job is permanent or seasonal. Moreover, it will be appreciated if you could elaborate on the possible benefits such as medical coverage and vacations that may come with the position.
Last but not least, I was wondering if you accept people with physical disabilities because my left ear was partially damaged during the tour I did in Iraq a few years ago. It is not a severe damage and I do not need any hearing aid. Nonetheless, it should be stated in the contract due to insurance requirements.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
John Doe
