You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months
say how your work could be done while you are away
ask for his/her help in arranging it
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ..................,
Dear Manager,
I am writing this letter to grant me permission and make arrangements to spend around six months in our head office located in India.
I have been working in this organization as a project operator for around a year now, yet there are few issues that are not tackled such as time management focus on one objective, vision selection, and other field based skills. All the staffs are dedicated, however unmanaged skills as such is stopping us to be competitive than others. If this problem is not solved, I am afraid our company will not be in the position as it is now. The work-management skills taught in Indian head office is far better; therefore I want to learn much for from the office in the interval of six months.
When I am gone I will be handling few works online, whereas other tasks will be carried out by Mr. ABC, who does know almost all the task I do. In case of emergency, I can help him to conduct task and provide guidance over the phone too. I firmly believe that he can assist well and the company will not have any interruption in workflow.
As I have not been to India I would like to request you to talk to the manager of the head office and make few arrangements regarding my stay there. Also, if possible it would be better if extra training to boost my skill is provided; this enables me to change the working style of our organization by providing such training in our office.
Hope you will understand the goal of my stay in head office and grant me permission and make arrangements as required.
Hope to hear positive response from you soon.
Yours Sincere,
NAME
