You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter
*explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
*say how your work could be done while you are away
*ask for his/her help in arranging it
Dear Mr.Aydın;
I am writing to you for working in our company’s head office in Berlin. I want to work in head office in Berlin because of two main reasons. One of them is that my experiences are well matched to the job requirements. It is stated on job announcement that they need an IT developer who graduated from Computer Science Department and has minimum five years of experience in automotive sector. I graduated from Computer Science and also I have worked in IT Department of our company for seven years. I can speak German as well. Thus, I don’t think that I will have communication difficulties in office.
Another reason why I want to work in Berlin is related to technological development in automotive sector in Germany. As known, Germany is a leading country with advanced technology in this sector so I can have many opportunities to improve myself in business life. I can attend many conferences, seminars and fairs organized by not only our company but also others. I can closely follow up to date technological development in automotive sector.
In addition, I would like to point out that there is no need to worry about the work here. I will continue supporting our team in Turkey for current projects by online access, conference calls and online meetings.
I have to give one referee from among people who I have worked with. We have been working together since 2015 and you have been objectively evaluating my performance annually. Thus, I have no doubt that you will make objective comments about me to the interviewer. I would like to request giving you as my referee to the interviewer.
I hope that my request will be considered and I look forward to your respond.
Sincerely yours.
Best Regards.
