Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Luke Hathaway and I'm a local resident of Boulder living two blocks from your hospital. I am writing in regards to the internship advertisement at your hospital and would like to offer my services.
The hospital is doing great work serving the community and I would like to do the same. In addition to this, it will help me gain some quality internship experience and hoping to be a great learning experience.
As a final year computer science student, I believe my knowledge in this field will be a great asset to improve current IT system at the hospital, It will not only save processing time for patients and his or her family members but also your staff. Furthermore, my latest cybersecurity project would be a great application to upgrade database security and to prevent hacking. I am more than happy to discuss my ideas in person and how we can implement them.
Since I am a student, I am mostly available on weekend between 8 am and 2 pm. I also have some free time on Monday and Wednesday between 6pm and 8pm starting next Friday.
I look forward to hearing a positive response from you.
Yours faithfully,
Luke Hathaway.
