The bar chart provides information about percentage of divorce in Finland and Sweden between 2011 to 2015.
Overall, the Sweden’s rate showed downward trend and the Finland’s rate showed an upward trend. However, both the rate had fluctuations.
In the beginning, Finland’s rate was around 38% which was about 8% lower than the Sweden’s rate. In the following year, Finland rate showed decline and reached to about 32%. However, in the year 2013, Finland rate showed first sign of increasement and it reached to just below 40%. The rate continued to grow up in coming years and as a result reached more than 40% in 2014 and finally outraced Sweden’s rate in 2015 by approximately 5%.
In the year 2011, Sweden’s rate was above the Finland rate which was about 45%. The percentage of divorce increased in the next year and reached to point just below 50%. However, after 2012 for some reason Sweden saw a decrease in the divorce which was around 47% and 45% respectively in 2013 and 2014. The number of divorce continued to decrease and reached about 37% in the end of the period.
