The line graph depicts the number of visitors taking trips to Caribbean Island by distinct types of accommodation over the period from 2010 to 2017.

Overall, tourists inclusive of people who choose to stay on cruise ships and on the island witnessed an upward trend while the option of staying on island saw a fluctuation over the period.

It is clear that when travelers booking trips to Caribbean Island, they tended to prefer staying on cruise ships than residing on the island from the year of 2016 and 2017. However, from the previous time between 2010 and 2016, the number of people entering the island to make the option of living on the island registered a higher figure. The total number of tourists with both selection of accommodation reached its peak.

On the other hand, the figure for staying on the cruise ships was estimated to account for 2 million of visitors by 2017, while in 2012 the number of travelers recorded a lowest figure, with just around 0.3 million. The number of tourists choosing to reside on the island experienced a steady decline from 2015 to 2016, with 1.3 million. By contrast, the figure saw a slight increase to 1.5 million in 2017. Inclusion of passengers taking on either cruise ships or staying on the island took predominantly among two separated options and reached a peak of 3.5 million of people in 2017.
