it is crucial for all towns and cities to have large public spaces such as squares and parks. do you agree or disagree with the statement?
it is undeniable to have open areas like squares and parks in urban settings. while I agree with the statement because such spaces are often necessary to the cities and towns to reduce congestion, get relaxation from busy life and conduct some public gatherings as a whole.
There are many reasons why large public spaces offer huge benefits to the people around the city and visitors. firstly, it would deduct overcrowding around the city center by roaming people and open marketers. The public often gets relaxing time in the parks, and pitchmen could get an opportunity to sell their product irrespective of disturbances to the busy people in the town. secondly, city livers would have an isolated place to spend their free time to relax and enjoy with dear and near ones from these kinds of spaces. For instance, the national park in the Trivandrum district offers many public meetings and social gatherings without disturbing the general public.
however, large public spaces sometimes consume more areas of towns may lead to minimal developments and advancements in the heart of the city. These squares and parks often need more land for advanced services, spectacles seatings, and facilities. Owing to the fact that towns may suffer from traffic congestion, transportation problems, and so on. for example, consumption of public squares in Bangalore city makes higher costs to reach by taxi services in terms of one-way traffic and excessive visitors.
In summary, communal spaces like parks and squares makes some disturbances in public and cities nevertheless, such places are inevitable in the city development and essential to the nation.
