In general, the waterfront area of Darwin town has become a much greener place with a large number of trees and accommodations.
As illustrated from the map, the most striking difference between two given years was that all industrial sites in this waterfront region has been removed. As for the one near the lake, a tiny swimming pool was built in its location. This increase the total number of the swimming pool to 3. Otherwise, other factors inside the circular footpath remained untouched
One the other hand, the other industrial area, which occupied a large amount of land, has also now been demolished to make room for several different facilities., the number of residential buildings was double in number and there was also a university sprang up nearly. The remaining of the land was covered with trees and a footpath cut through led to the seashore, in which there was a construction of the huge harbour
