The factors that influence
The factors that influence the decision that either the news editor decide what to broadcast on television or what to print in newspapers are: the amount of people they can reach; for example there are more people who watch tv than read the newspapers so they should broadcast on television. Antoher factor is the importance of the message for the editor and how well it is promoted.
I agree that we become used to bad news because they are preponderent on tv, on the internet or in magazines. I guess the reason why they are so many it's because they have a mor powerfull impact on us and somehow we are attracted to this type of news. If more good news were reported the anxiety and depression would be reduced. The television has a big influence on our minds. The bad news influence the vision of the people and make them anxious about the world they live in so, a biger amount of good news in media would change their point of vue and give them a different perspective of the society by inducing a good state of mind by bringing hope.
As the bad news influences the mind of the childrens so do the good ones. They motivate childrens and develope their imagination so they influence the future adults.
