In this day and age, it is claimed that educational certificates are becoming more essential features than practical experience and particular characters in terms of seeking for new workers. Overall, this essay will demonstrate some causes for that statement and the writer’s agreement that it is a completely negative development.
As is clearly seen that people obtaining formal qualifications are likely to open the door to better career prospects. The first particular reason for this circumstance is that it is easier to make decisions based on qualifications than the other two figures because it commonly takes much time to illustrate the life experience and personalities. People with educational degrees might be judged as students offering comprehensive education in prestigious universities with a holistic learning environment. It is believed that they do not only acquire theoretical knowledge surely but also participate in extracurricular activities so as to cultivate soft skills. Therefore, it is thought that they might make a contribution to the companies a number of achievements with their academic levels. Secondly, the ones who possess formal qualifications could get better job opportunities because we are living in a knowledge-based society where an increasement in knowledge has a direct relationship with wealth. As they get a quality diploma, they definitely own a chance to apply in an upright company with a high position and salary either.
To my point of view, this transformation has many pessimistic sides. Employees should not only possess various degrees but also practical skills. In addition, life experience assists people to deal with risks more effectively, which provides improvement in working. Personalities also take an significant role in working environment. If they are dishonest or inactive in workplace, it could bring a decreasement in development of the companies.
To some companies in these days, the qualifications seems to be the more essential factor than experience and personal temper.
