some people believe that university education should only be offered to those who can pay for their own courses and the government should not be expected to find higher education. to what extent do you agree?
Now days, most of the universities offer a variety range of educational courses in all around the world. A great deal of discussion has been done about universities fees and there are two main ideas on this issue. Some people believe that the government should provide the scholarship for all student, whilst another idea is based on the ability of students to pay university fees, therefore according to the last idea higher education courses will be just for a special group of students. I agree with the first idea to some extent because of couple of reasons which are discussed through following paragraphs.
Firstly, high percentage of the society, including most of the gifted students, are not able to afford university fees. Therefore if the government do not support them, the will not have any chance to make progress and promote their abilities. In the other words, the money is not a suitable criterion to evaluate of students for entrance to university.
Moreover, the government will lose a big qualified part of society because of disability of them to pay universities fees. The mentioned part of society can help government to develop the country after ending their education even more than people who paid themselves. By this way, the government funds will be back. As an another positive effect, it will improve human development index by offering equal chance for all of the students without removing one part of of them because of economic issues.
It is also possible, the immigration of talented students to another countries that provide requirements for them and it will be resulted human capital flight. What I mean is, the governments make people ready to be efficient for another countries. It should be noted that the government has paid a lot of money for reaching students to the stage before university.
In conclusion, I agree with the idea that said the government should be support the gifted students that have economical problem for higher educational level in university. Otherwise it may be have next negative effect because of ignore a lot of qualified people in the society.
