Some people think that people who choose a job early and keep doing it are more likely to get a satisfying career life than those who frequently change jobs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Occupation has been in the spotlight for an extended period of time. Many hold the view that an individual’s job should be selected carefully and held consistently in order to obtain a satisfying working life instead of regular alterations in occupation. While there are several strong arguments supporting this idea, this essay is still of the opposite side.
On the one hand, a range of reasons exist to clarify why concentrating on a defined profession can certainly help people seek job satisfaction. To begin with, people who persist in one and only type of work may accumulate relavent experience and enhance professional skills during their working life, which allows them to increase massively outpaced growth in productivity. Therefore, experts or skillful workers in a distinct field deserve high and stable income which is a crucial standard for one to rate their work satisfaction. Furthermore, those work labourors can show their loyalty and a great sense of enthusiasm to employers along with making enormous contribution to the company’s development. As a result, they may gain higher chances of pursuing promotion and go forward on their career ladder.
Despite the above explanation, it still occurs to me that others could enjoy job hopping and manage to find happiness in their working time in different ways. Firstly, frequent changes in occupation require and also provide job hoppers having a wide range of essential skills which multiple current recruiters are looking for. In addtion, the particular experience and qualifications they acquire over the employee’s work switchings can shape them to be more dynamic and flexible. Besides, job satisfaction is often the result of working conditions, rather than the career itself. For example, a positive working atmosphere, enthusiastic colleagues, and an inspirational boss can make working life much more satisfying, regardless of the profession.
In conclusion, although it is widely acknowledged that pursuing a selected career for the whole of one’s life can be a safe choice, I still believe to get satisfaction at work, people should make decisions based on what challenges they want to deal with and what they need for improvement themselves
