Why are we becoming a throwaway society

There are many reasons why we are becoming a throwaway society. First, people tend to use disposable goods instead of long-lived products because of their convenience. Obviously, when something wears out, people would prefer to throw it away and buy a new thing rather than spend time and money to repair it. As a result, more and more people are buying short-lived products to use in one time and take it to the dump instead of trying to mend them. Another reason is that disposable goods are excessively produced every year which leads to the increasing of using them in daily lives. People believe that disposable products will never run out because of a great number of quantity. Therefore, these products are usually used wastefully and thrown away to the environment after being used. Because of the above reasons, we are suffering from consequences of the trash problem.
