Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to inform that I lost baggage at Double Decker express when traveling to New Delhi from Jaipur on Sunday 3rd August 2017. The incident happened around 9 AM while train had crossed Cantonment station. The train was crowded and I could not observe the person who took my suitcase. I was sitting on the seat#33 in compartment number 5 of the train. I alerted the co passengers, however they could not find the suitcase.
To give you appearance of my suitcase, it is a brown colour with a black handle on the top and it had important business proposals of my company for upcoming Business Summit in Delhi. In addition, it has my tablet, a mobile charger, my government identification proofs and some business suits. The total loss estimated should be around 10,000 rupees.
It would be great if this letter can be taken as complaint and help me in finding my suitcase at the earliest. I have enclosed copy of the ticket for reference and can be reached on XYZ@gmail.com for further details. Looking forward to a prompt action.
Yours sincerely
Peter
