The lecture apparently refutes the points illustrated in the reading material. According to the professor, online encyclopedia are more benefit than printed encyclopedia. On the contrary, the reading contends an opposite stand that online encyclopedia have some irresisted flaw.
The first point the professor uses the point that the error within printed encyclopedia are more difficult to correct which always last for decades to cast doubt on the reading is that there is perfect reference neither online nor offline, which differs from the statement in the reading that online encyclopedia are nonprofessional that isn’t writing by the experts.
Another evidence the speaker adopts to contradict the passage is the online encyclopedia realize the importance of the reference are and they altering the encyclopedia to nonchangaeble but format, moreover there is an specialize editor who is only work for correct the error reference,which points out that online encyclopedia are reliable too. However, the reading states that the online encyclopedia will be manipulated by anyone who have access.
At last, the point made in the lecture contrasts with what is presented in the reading. As the professor claims, traditional encyclopedia don’t have enough space for printing all knowledge since the format of offline encyclopedia have limited space which need acdemic group to choosing useful knowledge however the online encyclopedia have enough space for quote all accurate reference . Whereas the reading material holds that online topic only receive trivial and hot topics which mislead the impression of encyclopedia .
