the franchise is better than small business
In this set of materials, the reading and the lecture both discuss whether or not the franchise business are more preferable than small independent one. While the reading sates that many problems faces the people who own their small business, franchise will guarantee the success of this work without any risky issues. The lecture refutes this by saying that franchise have many questionable issue and opposes each and every reasons that supported the claims of the writer.
First and foremost, the reading claims that the small business owner hard to find a good suppliers of goods and services they need for their work while, the franchise provide them and reduce the losses for the owner. However, the lecture argues that franchise owner enforced to buy expensive goods. According to the professor, the goods even if considerably equivalent to the ones that the company force the owner to buy them, they are not allowed to get these goods and this is disadvantage of the franchise.
Secondly, the reading makes the argument that the owner will not lose extra money spent on advertisement because the mother company will pay for it. As all know, the ad is very important and critical in business. On the other hand, the reading counters this by saying that 6% of total sale will go to advertisement. Furthermore, the return of money will spend to this ad. Also, the advertisement will ad about the brand of the company not the younger business.
Lastly, the reading says that franchise are more safe from failure than independent business. While, the lecture refutes this by pointing out that the security are not provided by franchise. Is it true reduce the risk but the gain from small business are double than the franchise work and researcher prove that all exist small business that are bought from previous owner have a n enormous success and secure finance.

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
