Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Most advertisements make products seem much better then they really are. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
It is a known fact that no manufacturer produces goods without the intent of making profit, therefore they advertise to the public to tell them of the products. In order to make large sales, they would go any length to make sure their commodities are sold. However some people argue that the products advertised are as good as they seem, while some others strongly oppose that, as they believe most adverts are just to make the products look appealing.Generally, speaking I agree that most products are not as fantastic as they look on commercials, particularly on pictures and i will elaborate in the paragraphs below.
First of all, the act of advertising is mainly to lure buyers, in a variety of way. We see commercials of products being aired on television daily, with the intent of making the public to believe that the particular product works magic. They go as far as paying actresses to put up a façade. For example, my sister and I watched an advert some months ago, where we were made to conclude that a ladies acne was treated in a period of one week, this made my sister buy this item, as she had battled with acne. After using the product for one month, she saw no positive result.
Secondly, marketing is inevitable for producers of various merchandise as it is a vital part of every manufacturing company. However they deceive the consumers in so many ways, such as the television jingles which they do all the time, although not all manufactures indulge in such, but the majority do. They package their goods in really attractive boxes or packets which appeals to anyone who cares to look at it, meanwhile the item in the box are of poor quality. For instance, last month I went into a departmental store with the hope of buying just a few groceries, then I came across a blender in a nicely designed box, so I bought it because I actually required one, as my previous one went bad. When I got home, I brought it out to use, only to realise the blades were so blunt, meanwhile on the carton, was written all sorts of food it could blend. That left me really disappointed.
In conclusion, it is obvious that majority of the commercials done by manufacturers are mainly to lure consumers just so they can make large sales, meanwhile they actually don't care about the quality of their products.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
