Nowadays, technology became more and more important for society. Some people argue that wide use of technologies has negatively affected on people, but I don't agree with this idea. In my opinion technology has a positive effect on people and how they live, and it has a lot of benefits for us.
Firstly, technologies made communication with other people easier by having a message or call options on every modern phone and by inventing social networks like Facebook, Viber, Twitter, etc. For centuries, communicating with people from different area or country was complicated and the only way to send a message was to write a letter. It took a long time to deliever the message. By modern marks that way of delivering messages is not eficient and comfortable. I have few friends who live in different countries and messaging feature with instant delivery massively helps to stay in touch with them.
Secondly, technological progress increased variety of transports and made transportation simple.
At the past people had to use bicycles to cover considerable distances or they had to walk by foot.Further into the past people used to ride horses, which is still a common way of transportation in some countries but certainly not the easiest one.As of today we can travel on the land, on the water and in the air as well.
Most popular transports used on land are cars, buses, metros etc. We can travel on water by boats or ships.In air we can transport by enormous planes or even by a helicopter. These inventions made transportation way less complicated than it was centuries ago.
In a conclusion, I strongly believe that technology has made earth a better place to live as it clearly has a lot of benefits for people. Technologies made our lives easier by improving ways of commuication and making transportation more and more simple.
