Some students prefer classes with frequent discussions between the professor and the students with almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with many lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
In order to introduce this topic I want to explain some key points in regards to how the interaction of students and the professor has changed during the recent years. In many ways the use of technology has been in raise not only in the workforce but rather in other areas, specifically in education and how lectures and discussion forums can be delivered faster and reutilize on further classes. This is crucial on how we can decide whether we want many or almost no lectures at all and also how we can scale discussions on vary topics virtually.
In my old days of college (almost 15 years ago) students prefer to have many lectures as possible due to outdated books and almost zero possibility to have a good bandwidth connection to the internet having the discussions with the assistants of the professor in a very old fashion way, that’s being said, pretty much you have the only and one opinion of the assistant without a proper discussion on why or how such matter was explained before on lectures. In mi personal point of view discussions on the main topics of the course are far more important than the lectures itself and I will get deep into this with a different perspective that I have nowadays after a lot of self-training and online courses on the internet. Human beings are related to have a deep sense of community to achieve goals, something that is missing sometimes on the classroom, therefore lot of students prefer to accumulate as much information as they can, even sometimes not sharing any specific details founded on other related matters or source of information. Having a good time discussing points of view and different angles to synthetize and summarize information is one of the most effective skill to comprehends a good amount of lectures and more important, due to the fact of learn to learn discussing with other class mates, can sharp your mind more efficiently and increase quickly the manner we digest difficult lectures. That is why discussion forums, specifically internet based forums are one of the best tools to learn from others, make mistakes, share information and basically interact in a faster way rather than only submitting questions or request to the professor or his assistant.
However some people might say that internet discussions are only for religion/politics arguments or for sharing useless information or even just hate to one others but I disagree on it based on my own experience and many others. When you just rely on college time based situations the interactions can be very slow or reserved on short times, some people can missed these or have a lack of interest even during lectures. To a certain extend they can be right but with a proper platform and with having some students being delegated to admin tasks all of the class can be benefit of it and even the professor or the assistant can interact faster and better sending different quizzes or more in depth lectures or related one that sometimes for some reasons cannot be discussed or analyze during lectures. There is a general agreement that technology and the internet can make things easier and quickly for such large audience, the ones that as an example are present in college.
To conclude, this essay has addressed on a different perspective how lectures/discussions can be addressed in college and even in contrast on how many students can think virtualizing our interactions sometimes can be very beneficial to our learning success path.

Write the essay in 30 minutes.
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
