Some students prefer classes with open discussions between the professor and students and almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Education is an essential tool for students. An educated student will conquer the world and will become the strong citizen of the society. Some people think that lecture-based class is the reason of good career and profound education, others would disagree. I certainly believe that students should prefer open discussion classes because it will build up confidence and create interest in the student.
First, Teacher can increase the confidence of student by open based discussion classes. Some students feel hesitate while asking questions in the class. If the class is based on discussion, students can ask their question and introduce their point of view. It makes student confident and they can participate in debates and other school activities. For example, my psychology professor always gave priority to the open discussion class. She always asked the question to those students who don’t ask any question and try to build an ability to ask the question. I was the one among them. Firstly, I felt hesitate and when I started questioning, I became fearless. Whatever come in my mind, I simply asked her. It had grown my confidence level and whenever I go to the seminar, I ask the question, if I have any query. As I can feel that open based discussion makes student strong and they can express their points easily.
Secondly, it makes class interesting and student can understand their lecture while enjoying. However, in lecture-based class, professor taught the specific material and it is not interesting also. For instance, when I was in 9th grade in Loyola school, I took the lecture based class of the history of United State. Initially, I enjoyed that class, but later on, I felt that the lecture base class was so boring. The professor only focused on the lecture and didn’t talk about any event that creates our interest in the class. Most of the student slept in the class at last seat. If I took open discussion class, I would get a chance to talk about my thoughts and asked the question, by that way class may be very interested. Though this taught me that open discussion classes are more beneficial than lecture classes.
In conclusion, open discussion creates a strong bond between students and professor. If students didn’t understand anything, they can ask easily. Also, it maintains interest in the student toward studies and focused them to the subject effective and efficiently.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
