The article and lecture are about color influence on purchaser`s behavior. While the author state how color shows an impact on employee`s performance, the speaker gives the research result conducted about how different the beige and orange color cause customer`s desire to buy.
Accordingly, the passage mainly discusses a color combination of people`s surrounding as the main interest of interior designers in these days. Next, the author indicates health consequences that are associated with different colors. For instance, a red color considered as the factor of high blood pressure, however, blue is seen as the heartbeat and blood pressure slower. Also, that is the reason why all the hospital sections are painted in neutral colors rather than intense ones. As the lecturer states, interior designers used to believe kind of red colors improves someone`s desire to eat, however, the research coordinated on two fast food restaurants where walls are painted in different, one is in beige while another is in red, possessed different results. Moreover, there was no significant difference in income and food variations, picked up by consumers, between the restaurants.
