They might also feed on non-flowering plants like fern and pine trees, however, later, the bees adapted to feed on flowering plants.
Finally, the lecturer implies that even though the fossilized structures lacked finer details of bee’s nest, they possessed same chemical evidence of special water proofing material as that of present nest.
