four day work week
The article states that four time work week has plenty of benefits for both employees and workers. It also provides three reasons to support the claim. However, the speaker explains that four day work week runs some risks that can cut down all of the advantages of such worker regime. He refutes each of reasons used in the passage.
To begin with, the writer insists that employee will work better and make fewer mistakes in the case of four day work week. The lecturer contends this point by explaining that it is not so profitable for companies because they will be forced to hire additional stuff that calls for additional costs. These costs are for computers, more room office, healthcare costs, and others.
What is more, the reading reports that move to four day work week will create new occupations, because employees will have to compensate the missing work hours. In contrast, the listening asserts that this burden may lie down on current employees. This is because in point of the company view the stuff is rested and is able to conduct more labor. Hence, employs can force employees to overwork, that will not create new work places.
In addition, the article claims that quality of life will increase because of having more spare time by a company’s stuff. However, the lecture opposes this point by asserting that people how are used to work for four days instead of five, will be limited in searching of a new job. They may will not attend an occupation for five day work week. Furthermore, this reason coupled with those companies can pass their four day working stuff over in promotion, because employers want to have managers that work throughout the entire work week. This is important because the consistency of managing should be saved.
