According to the text it is better to consume organic food due to the fact that it is healthier, it is free of pesticides and does not pollute surrounding ecosystems. On the other hand, the professor mentions that consuming non-organic food is not as harmful as popular belief tends to inform.
The text states that consuming organic food is healthier because it does not have all of the harmful chemicals that might risk the consumer’s life. Additionally, the text also mentions that the use of pesticides could end up in nearby water supplies, causing damage on the environment.
