Reading: Europeans arrived in Australia before the 1606s.
main points:
• Point 1: Europeans have a map of Australi.
• Point 2: A mammal is known to Europeans is very common in Australia.
• Point 3: A string of keys made by Europeans was found somewhere in Australia, which can be dated to about the 1500s according to the surrounding soil.
Listening to lecture (oppose specific points:)
• Point 1: There are many inaccuracies in the maps drawn by Europeans, so they did not arrive, just hearsay.
• Point 2: The animal is known to Europeans is not only found in Australia but also in North America.
• Point 3: The time measurement of European crafts in Australia may be wrong because modern technology has found that measuring the age of the land alone cannot determine the age of crafts.
Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they oppose specific points made in the reading passage.
Paragraph stating three pivots here which need to be cleared as stated in the audio version of oppose by the lecturer that will discuss below.
First, There was a vogue in presence of Map, a dubious thaought may appear a the listening section of lecture, on paragraph the promt says that the map was authentic but when we liston inside the opposite statement that stats eupeans map was inaccurate and have many flaws in it, on the other hand lecture describe us that there were other people do came before them and might they have the correct map.
Second, The Animal were on both the country north amaria and Australia not just in Australia, As per passage context European have a information about the mammal in Australia was the very common inside australia itself but inside lecture we can directly see that lecturer givind a statement about that animal which was not only present in the australia but also in the north america.
Third, the time measurement is not holding any water in the context of Para as per the lecturer because of the unclearness of technological evidence that proof the record which determins that it is 100% sure, but it is not becuase there is no such thing present on earth that validate the age of european craft that means age of land is not directly proportional to the age of any European craft.
In Conclusion, The reading stated many points including Map Accuracy, Mammals occurance and the age of craft but opposing site have the proof of all the points that says the context in the paragraph needs more clear varification on the nebulous grond of information, On the other hand lecturer said many points that imply on more information needed before the final conclusion.
