First of all, the article states that, If the people were working as a team, they would have great knowledge and quick response to solve the problem than an individual's work. However, the lecture opposes this point by saying that everyone in the team didn't contribute much more. Furthermore, the lecture used a corporate company as an example to explain. According to the lecture, the company was initiated a group project and analyzed the results after six months. The outcome was surprising because most of the team members didn't contribute to the project.
Second, the passage posits that if the people were working as a group, they would easily take a crucial decision because the responsibility would spread to the whole group. The lecture, On the other hand, casts a doubt reading claim. He feels that the people in the group project will take too much time for a final decision. According to the professor, in every team have one or two influential workers, they dominate the rest of the team members. As a result, it consumes a lot of time to develop a final decision.
Lastly, The reading passage claims that the individuals in the group, who works hard, gets benefited and a great chance for freshers to update their knowledge. The professor makes an argument on this point by saying that the individuals won't get any recognition. Furthermore, the professor illustrated that in the teamwork recognization is always for the whole group and it's bad for the real contributors.
