The reading and the lecture are both is about smart cars, which is computer driving the cars in a route and speed to go its destination. Smart cars are help to reduce the cost, safe driving, high speed. The author of the reading believes that smart cars have advantage for human. The lecture casts doubt on the claims in the lecture. He think that smart cars have not beneficial for every time.

First of all, the author point out that computer based smart cars are really helpful to prevent the accidents and save the life of passengers. There are many sensors that determined the obstacles and path that reduce the accident .save the many life. The professor refute this point by saying that modern smart cars have problems, sometime technical problem can occur. If technical disturbance occur the damage of life more than today’s damage.

In additionally, The article posits that wider use of smart care reduce the traffic problem . all those it computer based care that’s why they can run very high speed and side by side , Its reduce the travel time. The lecture counters this point by stating that if travel time reduce than more cars are willing to drive people. Number of care are increased that’s why smart care are not able to archive its high speed ultimately time are not saved.

Finally, the reading passage argues that smart cars reduce the costs of driving because such items like brakes, tires and transmission are last longer than the normal cars. However, the lecturer refute this point by saying that GPS system are very expensive and sensors of smart care are more expensive. Repair cost are high than normal cars .
