However, the lecturer calls his argument into question by saying that Tom Avery's situation is completely different taking into account of several factors. Further, he maintains that the British explorer carries less weight than Peary does, and the recent expedition's weather was favorable that the older situation.
Third, the writer asserts that the photograph that is taken by Peary features the document of North Pole's location. In addition to that, the author in the article added that the shadow of the Surf matches with the Sun's position as if it was in the North Pole. As opposed to the author, the lecturer holds that the photograph can't provide precise information. She highlights that since it was dated 100 years, the old photo is blurry and faded.
