In the lecture, the professor makes a series of points that cast doubt on all the arguments presented in the reading passage about the advantage of team work.The speaker illustrates his points with a research which has been done in a company and after the six months how well the work was done in teams of people were compared to indivitual work and the results of this research showed different results.
First of all,the proffesor states about free ride that was very common in every group project and some people in every group do not do work and take credit and also group as a whole get recognition not by every person and some people felt they were not seen in the group this counteradicted with the idea of the reading passage about the broader range of knowlege .
Secondly, the lecturer states the group work did not move quickly and they needed more meeting to reach a consent and it completely contradicte with the reading.
Lastly, the proffessor points out to the influencers in every group which basicly ignore others ideas in the group and converse to the reading that states people will shine in group influencer in group can convince the group for their idea and if the project fails the blame would be for all the members of the group.
