Nonetheless, the professor challenges this argument, he explains that the lady was probably an Austen's relative, hence the resemblance.
Finally, the text claims that it fits that a contemporary portrayer painted the piece. The article mentions that Ozias Humphray was active around the time when Austen was a teenager, as the piece depicts.
