The reading states that salvage logging is a good way to remove dead trees from affected areas and provides three reasons of support it. However, the professor states that salvage logging has some damages for forests by stating some of important damages.
First, the article states that If the trees are not removed, they will take years to decompose. The professor says that it is nod good for the next generation of trees. He says that If the trees are not cleaned, they will be good for the next generation of trees. Also, he says that it will be useful for fertilizing th.
Second, the reading states that dead trees do more than just take up space. The professor says that it is bad for things which live near ther.
Third, the reading claims that salvage logging has economic benefits. The professor says that it is not good for economic. He says that it has not long-term impact on economic. He says that the remains of dead trees are cleaned by the helicopter. In addition, the professor emphisizes that it needs more experience than local residences have. So salvage logging is not good for improving local econimic.
