To stop spread of cane toad in Australia

The listening and the reading materials have a doubt on ways that may prevent increasing the population of toad in Australia. The penman puts 3 main hypotheses, which refuted by the following orator.

First of all, the writer proposes that making national fence limiting toads from spreading into other parts of country, will solve the problem. because in similar experiment about rabbits, it had been useful strategy. On the contrary, the speaker views this issue from an opposite angle. According to her, not only this proposal is not efficient, but it also does not stop juvenile toads and eggs existing in rivers from spreading of one side to other side.

The second point offered by the author is that volunteers can help government for collecting toads and their children and eggs even easier. On the other hand, the professor casts doubt on this assumption by saying that they are untrained and may damage to native toads by destroying Australia's ecosystem.

Last, the reading passage suggests that injecting some kind of disease- producing virus can control their population. However, the lecturer holds a different view. She explains that this contaminated animals may send to other countries and an systematically disaster happens.

In all, the ideas mentioned in the speech counter the opinions in the text according to the above reasons.
