The reading and the listening passages are both about a new tactic term called buzzing, which means when companies hire someone, who get paid, to promote some products for people they know or meet. Also, it states that many critics want to see the buzzing banned because of three reasons, which the buzzer in the listening passage challenges each point.
Firstly, the author claims that because the buzzers are paid, they give incorrect information about the buzzed product. However, the student contends that saying wrong information is not true. In fact, the companies hire people who like the products in order to say the truth for costumers.
Secondly, the reading article averts that people heard from buzzers less critically than they should. The student contradicts this point by saying it is the opposite. Actually, the people ask a lot about price, and how long have you use this product? Therefore, if the product not good, people will not buy it.
Finally, the reading passage mentions that buzzing will affect social relationship because it spreads mistrust and dishonesty, The buzzer rebuts this claim and he points out that companies hire the people who love the product. If the buzzer speaks about it, people are going to love because they will have a good experience with it.
In conclusion, the lecturer clearly casts doubt on the points that the writer made in the reading.
