The article and the lecturer discuss the existence of the red blood cells in dinosaurs, T-rex. Although the article believes T-rex had red blood cells, the lecturer is suspicious about the article's belief.
Firstly, the article demonstrates that a T-rex leg bone was broken by the scientist and examined in order to see what is inside of it. The researchers find holes and soft parts inside of the bone which shows that these holes might be vessels; nevertheless, the lecturer disclaims these holes might have been built by the bacteria which activate came to life after the death of the animals.
Moreover, the article illustrates that finding red spheres shows red blood cells have existed while the professor has another point of view. He thinks that because the red sphere is present in all the fossils found in that area and some of those animals are proved not to have the blood cells, so the red sphere should be something else.
The last controversy is on the existence of collagen, a kind of protein, which demonstrates that tissues in bone have existed. On the other hand, the lecturer says that the collagen cannot last more than a hundred thousand years while T-rex is seventeen million years old, so collagen should not belong to T-rex.
