Animal fossils help scientists reveal some knowledge about the ancient T. rex.
The issue both the reading and listening focus on is revelation from animal fossils but the listening disagrees in three main points.
At the first point, it is stated in the reading that there is soft, flexible organic substance found in the T. rex fossils. This substance may be the intact of the actual blood vessels of T. rex. According to the listening, the substance might be something else that is far distinct from the vessels. In fact, after T. rex is dead, one kind of bacteria are likely to dominate the hollow. They tend to produce moisture, which are then misunderstood to be the remaining of T.rex's blood fossil.
At the second point, the reading believes that in the fossil found, scientists are able to find the spheres that could be the remnant of red blood cells. On the contrary, the listening argues that several species also prove to have such spheres though they do not possess red blood. As a result, the spheres found might be purely the remaining of the red mineral.
At the last point, the reading mentions that scientists prove the existence of collagen in the dinosaur leg, which is exactly the substance that is expected to be found in association with bone tissue. However, the listening confirms that collagen will not ever last over 100000 after the animals are dead. Therefore, the collagen founded in such 70000000-year-old fossils prove to be a ridiculous finding. As a matter of fact, the finding may be that of the researchers conducting the excavation.
