TPO 25

In the reading passage, the author claims that the vessel, which was found in Iraq in 1938, cannot be accounted as ancient electric battey by pointing out three reasons of support. However, finding all the ideas implausible and questionable, the professor casts doubt on what is presented in the text, and states some evidence to the contrary.
At first, the author argues that having not attached to any conductor, the vessle were not able to rpiduce electricity. The lecturer brings upthe idea that the absent of conductor cannot endorse anything. Indeed, thre are some other possibilities since the excavation operation had been done by the local people who certainly were not expert. Therefore, those people could have discovered them and throw them away. They overlooked the importance of those material since found them initerested.
In addition, the reading passage holds the view that the appearance similarities between the vessle in the Iran and another cylanders excavated n the ruins of Seleucia have demonstrated their similar usage. On the other hand, the professor, disoutes this point by clarifying that this resembalance can ratify their original usage but it does not prove its latter purposes nonetheless. Actually, it is plausible that after a while they found out that its exposition to some liquieds could have produced electricity. Subsequently, they altered its utilizing.
Finally, the author asserts that producing the electrucity was a futile activity in that era due to absence of any electrical device. The professor, though, dimisses this point by subscriging to the fact that probably, electiricty had some other invisible usages owing to its capabaliti to shock people. Consequently, some people might have magical purposes. Also, even in modern medical sicnence, electricity is used for stimulating the muscles and it could be another viable expalantion for using the elecricity on that period as well,
