tpo 29Q1
In this set materials, the reading states that there are findings which support the hypothesis of dinosaur's migration toward southern regions, and provides three reasons to support this claim. However, the professor believes that the given reasons are not convincing and refutes each of the author's reasons.
First of all, the reading asserts that the dinosaur's diet shows that they went to the south. On the contrary, the professor says there are 24-hour picks of sunshine during the summer, which provide a good condition for the growth of the plants. Moreover, these animals could feed dead plant during the winter.
Second, the reading declares that several skeletons of these animals have been extracted in the area. To argue with this statement, the professor says that this claim is not meaningful. According to the professor, the animals live in hers to protect themselves from predators not just for migration. She provides an example of a modern-day animal, which lives in hers, but do not migrate, to opposes this claim.
Third, the reading claims that these animals are able physically to do such migration. The professor cast doubts on this point by explaining that they do not migrate just by adult animals, and there are definitely some young children among them. So, they did not leave their children. As a result, they stayed there, even in bad weather condition, to protect their offspring.
