The author of the reading states that due to many reasons burning mirror is a mythical weapon and Greek people of Syracuse did not build this tool. The lecturer, on the other hand, cast doubt about this claim. She, then, argues that it is impractical.
The reading declares that Greek were not enough advance in technology to build this thing those days. Professor, however, disagrees with this claim. She contends that they assembled mirror piece by piece.
