TPO-32 - Integrated Writing Task Starting in the 1960s and continuing until the 1980s, sailors in Russian submarines patrolling the North Alantic and Arctic Ocean would occasionally hear strange sounds. These underwater noises reminded the submarine crews

The reading and the speaker discussing about what cause the quackery sound but in very contrast ways.

Firstly, reading passage says that this frog mimic sound would be from the Ocra whale specially female one, when it wants to attract the male for sex then it produces these kind of sounds. And moreover, the Russian's patrolling couldn't find out through radar detector because the sound made by animals. But the speaker refutes this point by saying that Ocra lives in the on surface of the water not under the deep ocean.

Secondly, reading passage states that sound could be from giant squint but it does not has the skeletal system but it still it capable of sending signal through brain, may be because of curiosity it might had approach the submarine. Still the professor not convinced with this point, he explains that these sound are appearing for last two century and in 1980 the sound was disappear and reappear again at after twenty years so it does not make sense according to professor.

Thirdly, reading passage argues that it could be other country military ship because, recently technology advanced fast so they might have used the technology which not possible by detector. Again the lecturer oppose this point by saying that it is very difficult change the direction of submarine ship quickly and there is no such technology which create zero noise while engine is on. So the other countries ship highly impossible.

To sum up, reading passage suggests that quackery sound could be Ocra, giant squint or foreign military ship but the professor refuses all above statements with reasonable evidences.
