The reading and lecture both are discussed about pterosaurs is powerful flighter or not. While the reading states that pterosaurs are not capable to fly and provides three reasons of support. However, the lecture states that recent research showed that pterosaurs is a good flighter and refutes each of the reading points.
First of all, the reading passage states that pterosaurs is a reptiles and cold-blooded animal. Cool-blooded animal are not able to produce enough amount of energy that help them to fly. all modern animal who are able to fly all are warm-blooded animal. However, the lecture argues that pterosaurs body have hear like element that make body warmer. This body hear help them to make body warmer to fly.
In addition, the reading make the argument that weight of pterosaurs is very heavy so it not able to flap their wings fast that make them powerful flight. However, the lecture counter this point by stating that there boon are hollow and very light weight, that help them to fly smoothly. Furthermore, this hollow boons make there body light . So pterosaurs can able to fly very first.
Finally, the reading passage claims that pterosaurs are not a power flight because there back legs are small and weak that not able to take off from ground. All animal run and jump to get enough speed to fly. The lecture refutes this claim by pointing out that pterosaurs are used different technique to fly, they are used four legs to fly that help them to take off.
