The article states that pterosaurs were unable to fly or to flap their wings and provides, three reasons of support. However, the professor disagree with it and believes that there are several asserts proving their capabilities and refutes each of author's reasons.
First, the reading claims that the Pterosaurs as modern reptiles are cold-blooded. The professor posits that new finding shows their metabolism is similar to warm blooded creatures using the evidence of furs which is discovered to cover their body.
Second, the article claims that only light creatures have the ability to fly, and a Pterosaurs can't fly. The professor opposes this point by explaining the unusual light bone characteristics of a pterosaurs. As a result she believes that, the hallow bones helps the pterosaurs to flap the wings and fly's.
Third, the reading says that the animals with flying capabilities are able to take off the ground, while large pterosaurs couldn't take of which is caused by disability of jumping and running. The professor also opposes that point by explaining their ability to push off the ground, run fast and jump high by means of four leams, in spite of other two leams animals. furthermore she states that, in spite of the flyable creatures which usually uses their behind limes to push off, pterosaurs used their four leams.
